When you hear the words Prague city break, you probably think of stag parties and cheap beer. Prague is a popular destination for both of those reasons; however, this city has much more to offer besides partying. Prague can be romantic, cultured and refined, making it the perfect city break destination for just about anyone. A visit to Prague isn't complete with at least a few strolls along its famous Charles bridge. It's the oldest in the city and is lined with 30 statues. It's pedestrian-only so its the perfect place to soak in the spectacular views of the city. The city is also home to one of the most famous clocks in the world: the astronomical clock. Every hour this clock dating back to 1410 awakens and characters such as death dance about putting on quite a spectacle. The clock is situated on the Old Town square, which has been the heart of Prague for years. Here is where you'll find some of the best architecture the city has to offer along with its Christmas market, Easter market and various other festivals and activities. Lastly, a visit to Prague's epic castle, which spans over 45 acres is a must. You could easily spend a day getting lost here meandering through its courtyards, churches, gardens and historic palaces. After a busy day of sightseeing, be sure to relax with a pint of Czech pilsner, not only is it delicious but it's often cheaper than getting a bottle of Coke!
